Leila read the letter with a smile gracing her features, as Wolf's arms were around her. When she finished reading the letter, she refolded it and stood on tiptoe to kiss her husband once gently on the lips before taking his hand and walking back toward the castle.

So much good news today!

She smiled brightly, her blue eyes dancing in the sunlight.

Wolf smiled, just the thought that leila was happy made him happy aswell. as they walked through the courtyard, Wolf noticed Devlin teaching some the children, Wolf tilted his head slightly."is Devlin teaching arcane magic and alchemy?" he asked holding her hand gently

Leila nodded.

Yes. He has opened a school to teach the children o the kingdom the art of magic.

She smiled a bit as she watched the children.

in the hallway a strange cloaked figure moved within silently. he swifly moved around the castle. he made it to the vault room and looked around for treasures. he found a large diamond, plaxing it in his bag, along with coins that scattered around. he swiftly left the Vault, he made it the court yard and saw leila and Wolf, hiding from their view, but Wolf noticed a shadow behind Leila."someones here...just act normal." he whispered. the cloaked man look to see if it was clear

Leila nodded once, her wings fluttering slightly. She gripped Wolf's hand more firmly as they made their way to the library. At this time of day, there wouldn't be many people there. Most likely just a few university students, but they would be mostly alone. She pulled him through the door and closed it behind them.

What was that?? she whispered.

the cloaked man jumped out holding a knife to leila's throat, as he grabbed her."look I dont want to harm you or your lover...I just want to-" Wolf grabbed his arm and twisted it, almost to breaking point."what are you doing here?"the man screamed in pain." I heard this was a great place to..."Burrow" from...please let me go" he dropped the bag and all of the content from the vault rolled out, the diamond, coins gold and gems.

Leila gasped as Wolf ripped the man's hand away from her throat. She gaped as the contents of the castle vault went spilling across the floor. She then whipped around to face the man.

You would steal from your queen?

Her voice held an unusual amount of anger. She had not foreseen anyone trying to steal from the kingdom, and it made her feel stupid and naive.

the man showed agner in his face." I dont bow down to anyone...especially not a girl!" he spat on the ground near leila. Wolf punched him once more. the man just laughed."my master will look for me...you will wish you havent captured me...he is king of the beasts." his accent was unusual and strange compared to many others

Leila stalked to the nearby door and called out:

Brutus! Please take this man away to the dungeon. He has disgraced the kingdom.

She watched as Brutus handcuffed the young man and led him away roughly before slumping into a chair, neglecting her usual careful posture and placing a hand over her face.

The day was going so well, too.

" master will come, he will strike you down, his strength is like a demon, he will come for me...he will destroy these walls and your castle." he ranted as brutus punched him.

Wolf sat by liela and placed his arm over her."dont let that fool get to...we are gonna be parents" he smiled as he kissed her

Leila nodded, still distracted by what the man had said... Until Wolf kissed her. And then all of her thoughts scattered and she focused on only him. She couldn't help it. She was completely vulnerable to the effect he had on her. She smiled and kissed him back.

he held her close, whsipering into her ear."I love you" he looked to the side, and then to the bag."theives...they are all the same." he thought to himself

Leila rested her head on Wolf's shoulder and kissed his throat once, her hands resting on his chest. She sighed contentedly. How had she gone for so many years without him? He was her everything... And she had him all to herself for this single solitary moment.

he sighed with happiness, looking down at leila, all the time he wandered around he never thought anyone would give him a chance, untill he met her for the 1st time. and now he was married and having a child, but he knew that the constant threatfrom invasion would take him to many battles in the upcoming years
