♥	The day started out as usual. Ran out of my room, grabbed a piece of toast and a bottle of water. Today is my last day as a high school student and in 3 months- I'll be starting my freshman year in college! You all know what that means..! CUTE BOYS! Summer will come and we're all going to hit the beach before break is over. This has been something I've been looking forward to since my first day as a high school student! I got to the train station just in time- Thank God! My life is going to change- I'd get a new apartment, and I get to go to college and drink all the sake I want! And no one will ever tell me what to do! Finally... The life I've always wanted. A life as an adult. As I got off my train- I saw my best friend. "Hey you! Are you ready for our last day as seniors?"	♥

Tokine Furakawa called back as she ran after the other to hug her tightly. Already she felt like tearing up, imagine, just yesterday they were first year students at Chirori High, now they were fully blossomed adults -sort of, on their way to Tokyo U together! The excitement was overwhelming, but Tokine knew she couldn't let it get to her. It would ruin her perfect plan. She'd spent every school day making sure that everything was perfect, in order in her life. She was class president, the first to volunteer in the school's festivals and always busy with her academics, then she'd spend leisure time facebooking and tweeting.

After hugging her sister for life, Tokine would regain, her usual, calm, and controlled demeanor. With a soft smile, gracing her fine, delicate features she'd link arms with the other then walk her out of the station whilst asking her what he future plans would be.

A Slice of Life Tokii

Tokine was still smiling gently as she litsened to the other speak. When the girl hesitated and changed the subject to Satsuki's where-abouts, Tokine could tell she was already ahead. Thinking she'd be late and the like.

Tokine rolled her eyes as she was familiar with this scene, sometimes she'd catch Satsuki in the same train with her, it was seldom the times the girl would be late, especially with a prinsipal-sensei as sharp as Nanatsu, but it was beginning to lean in that direction. This worried even Tokine who'd never noticed things unimportant to her. This was.

In her step she too came to a pause, trying to remember where she had last seen the girl -yesterday during yobiko studies. But after that, not much. Raising a hand to cover her lips, deeply pensive the young japanese student just recalled having her new mobile phone on her. "Ano...eto... I don't know where she is but..." The student had detatched herself from her best friend while she searched her bag for the small device. Once finding the ultra modern and sleek Android 4G phone, she searched her contacts and decided to text her friend:

Satsuki-chan we're @ the train. Where the heck are you?! ><;

After sending the message, Tokine's ocean colored hues fixed toward the train as it pulled in at the station.

"She might be in this one."

Tokine said, already searching through the few faces she could see beyond the crowd as they gathered at the door before the train stopped and opened them.

"Ohayo gasaimasu,Tokine-senpai!"

Yuina Mihara called out excitedly as she ran out of the very train. Once reaching them, the girl gave a quick bow toward them, smiling gleefully it them for a split second before it wavered, her sadness pushing through.

Ohayo, Yui-kohai, have you seen Satsuki-chan? We're gonna be late for toban if she doesn't hurry."

Yuina nodded, and turned to face the doors.

"Heyyyy!!!!"

A petite, obviously flustered girl came sprinting through the exit of the train, coming dangerously close to its
already closing doors. Adjusting the purple purse that just barely remained hanging over her shoulder, she
threw her hand up--only to watch her brand new cell phone smack straight on the concrete below in the process.

"Oh, crap," her docile features twisted with frustration, and she immediately dropped to her knees to regain it.
She examined it intently for a brief second, then turned her doe-like eyes upward to flash a rather large beam.
"It's okay! Gosh, this thing is pretty durable. Lucky for me!"

Scuffling to her feet, she noticed her now vibrating phone, and she slid the screen sideways to quickly peek at
her inbox. "TK, sorry, I didn't see your text! But I am here now, no worries," she grinned.

Mimi, Tokine, and she had been friends since as long as Satsuki could remember, and it was always Tokine who
tried to keep her haphazard antics in check. She was quite commonly the last to show, and her agenda was
always all over the map.

"Mimi, morning! Hi, Yui!"

Tokine smiled, a mild relieved expression settled upon her soft features as she watched the girl approach them.

"It's about time you showed up, let's go."

Yuina flashed a quick smile, and waved a hand at the older student. She could always get a bit fluttery when surrounded by so many older students. When she realized the group were starting off, she stuck close to Tokine, as if she were her older, protective sister. In a sense it's been leaning toward that type of relationship the two shared over the years. But Yuina wondered if they would still keep in touch even after she graduated. She hoped so.

"So what are your plans after graduation?" Tokine asked the both Mimi and Satsuki as she ushered them out of the train station. She was aware of how edgy and unusually quiet Yui had gotten behind her, and she smiled as she wove an arm round her little sister's neck, bringing her into the group. "And how are classes going for you Yui? Got an eye on a college yet?"

"Eh? Ano...my grades are fine. I-I wish to attend Tokyo U -like you Tokine-sempai!" The first year student blurted out, surprised that the other was addressing her as though she were apart of their world. She felt her cheeks warm, and her heart beat quicken.

Tokine nodded at her reply, "Well, that's good." She smiled at her warmly.

"Well you know we're all shooting for Tokyo U--that's a no brainer. But you and Mimi are bound to get in with no
problems. You'll pass with flying colors! But me..." she paused, bringing her arms to cross behind her slender neck.

"Well, my grades have never been so good. Who knows if I'll pass the entrance exam."

It was true--Satsuki had never really been one who was proficient in school. It wasn't like she was a lost cause or anything.
She wasn't a part of the too-cool-for-school crowd of students that never attended class, smoked behind the cafeteria,
and practically lived in detention. There had been a few, innocent times where she'd decided to ditch a class or two, but
Satsuki was a master of excuses and had never gotten into any real trouble. Still, she'd been worried about life after high
school a lot lately, and now that the end of the school year was drawing near, she was nearly bursting with anxiety.

At that Satsuki grew a momentarily quiet, letting out the softest sigh before giving her friends a nonchalant shrug.

"Well, well cross that bridge when we get there, right? For now, let's enjoy the taste of ALMOST freedom," she grinned.
