ウサギのいちご

Ever since I was a kid,
I've always dreamt about meeting all the members of the zodiac.
My mom has told me that it was just a story, but then I wonder..
How come every new years, a Zodiac Banquet is held?
They only allow certain people to attend,
and I've always wanted to come.
Unfortunately...
My mom doesn't believe me when I told her
that there is such a banquet and that I have seen it
once before.

I can remember it clearly.
I was 11 years old, about to turn 12, and we have just celebrated
the arrival of the year of the Rabbit.

I wasn't supposed to wander around outside
since it was already dark, but I don't understand why they
would worry so much since it isn't as though I would wander
outside the gates of the Sohma estate.

Mom and dad was already asleep, and I snuck outside.
I was walking around the main house and I saw... Him.
I've never really talked to him before, but he goes to my high school
that I attend now.

I saw him hurrying into the main house, wearing one of the
most beautiful kimono I've ever seen.
He looked amazing, his blonde hair complemented him
and he's got such a handsome face.
His eyes are amber and it matches his earrings perfectly.

After that new years, I started to sneak out of the house
after the new year's banquet, hoping that I'd see him
again hurrying to the main house.

It's been almost 4 years since that has happened and I'm
about to turn 16 soon. I never saw him again, except from at
school. I couldn't really approach him since he's always with other
people and I'm too afraid to go up to them and introduce myself.

However.. I did end up learning his name though!
(Thanks to those "Yuki Fan club" who are always chatting
about the Sohma boys and Ms. Tohru Honda and the girl they call
"Yankee" and "Psychic").
Momiji Sohma.

I smiled, thinking and repeating his name in my head.
I wonder if he's a part of the Zodiac.

I walked around the hallway, and there they were.
one of those loud Yuki fan club girls(a first year fan) was talking
to Momiji, but he looked uncomfortable.
Should I do something?

Uneasy, I summed up some courage.
"What's going on here? Shouldn't you two be getting to class?"
I tried to sound annoyed but it came out quite timid instead.
